The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan operates 11 Child and Family Support Centers in the regions. Shuvalan and Goranboy centers were subordinated to the State Committee by Presidential Order in 2007, and 9 more centers (Zagatala, Gabala, Ismayilli, Goygol, Agdam, Hajigabul, Saatli, Sabirabad, Zardab) were subordinated to the State Committee in December 2010. The Centers aim to provide support to vulnerable families and individuals by implementing various social projects and programs on issues related to family, women, and children. They work towards preventing domestic violence, early marriage, and drug addiction while promoting family values, healthy lifestyles, and gender equality. In addition, the centers organize training sessions to improve the skills of parents and specialists. The staff of the centers includes a director, chief accountant, social work psychologist, social work specialist, social pedagogues, and a physical education instructor. In 2023, 32,399 people benefited from the activities of the Centers.

"Family volunteers" program has been held since 2019. Volunteers of the program closely participate in the projects and events held by the Committee.

The Council, consisting of 15 members, was established to increase children's public activity, develop independent self-expression skills, leadership qualities, and ensure the right to participate.

The "genderazerbaijan.com" portal was created with the aim of strengthening the coordination and efficiency between the persons responsible for gender, their networking, and at the same time, activities in the field of gender equality are carried out based on more transparent principles.

Within the framework of the early childhood development project, the portal www.eudi.az has been created, which includes useful information on the health of children before school and the development of various skills.
